2003 Porsche Boxster S
The “S” badge signifies something truly special.
Compared to the standard Boxster, the Boxster S rides on a suspension that includes higher-rate springs and shock damping, longer rear lower control arms that increase toe-in stiffness and larger wheel bearings that increase camber stiffness to provide high-speed cornering stability.
With the advanced Tiptronic S five-speed automatic transmission, the driver can place the shift lever into “D” and let the transmission do the shifting, or shift into “M” and control gear shifts with steering wheel mounted thumb switches.
The Boxster S comes with extensive standard comfort and convenience equipment: three spoke leather-covered steering wheel, leather seats with power recliners, power windows with one-touch lowering and raising, heated windshield washer system, heated power side view mirrors, power front and rear trunk lid releases, telescoping steering column, automatic climate control with dust/pollen filter, AM/FM radio and CD changer, front and rear fog lamps, three-point inertial reel seatbelts with pre-tensioners and load limiters, and transponder key anti-theft system.
